Training for dads who want more than weight loss. Follow a clear strength and conditioning plan, work hard and make progress you can measure without spending your life in the gym.
TRAIN FOR LIFE
When work and family crowd out training, it is easy to end up doing the odd workout with no sense of progress. You want to lift well, improve your engine and see the effort show in your physique.
Strong Dads gives you training to work towards and nutrition that supports it. Track what you lift, how your fitness improves and how you feel when you run, play sport or keep up with your kids. Your weight can be one measure, without being the only goal.
TWO WAYS TO START
Both options put strength and conditioning first. Strong Dads 90 brings dads together for a 12-week intake on the same training plan, with group calls and bookable check-ins. Project Unstoppable is built around you, with weekly check-ins and more direct access to Sam.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE
“I’ve put on 4kg and feel a lot stronger and fitter.”
“I’ve also managed to go from strength to strength both in power output and sustained lifting ability lifting heavier for more reps and longer.”

Join an intake and follow the same 12-week progression as the other dads. Three full-body sessions each week, plus an optional engine session, develop strength, muscle and conditioning in 50 minutes or less.
Progress your main lifts across the 12 weeks so you can see what your work in the gym is building towards.
Train each side, build power and practise movements that help you feel athletic again.
Develop the fitness to work hard, recover and keep going when a session or day demands more of you.
A planned progression gives you direction through busy weeks without turning every workout into an all-out test.
THE THREE PHASES
Establish a training routine and build the fitness to handle more work.
Add muscle and training volume while continuing to improve your conditioning.

YOUR COACH
I’m Sam Rathbone, a strength and conditioning coach, gym head coach and dad of two. I have coached people since 2014, with experience across personal training, rugby and athletics.
I built Strong Dads for men who want their effort in the gym to show up in their strength, fitness and physique. Training challenges you physically and gives you goals to work towards; nutrition supports that work and your recovery. The aim is to feel capable for whatever comes next.
